Signycle is a free market cycle intelligence platform. We do not sell your personal data. We do not require account creation to use the site.
1. Who we are
Signycle ("we", "us", "our") operates the website signycle.com — a financial research and market cycle intelligence platform covering cyclical stocks across European exchanges. The site is operated as a personal project and is not a registered financial institution.
2. What data we collect
We collect the following types of data when you visit signycle.com:
- Analytics data — via Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This includes pages visited, time on site, general geographic location (country/city level), device type and browser. This data is anonymised and aggregated — we cannot identify individual visitors.
- Email address — if you subscribe to the Signycle newsletter via the Beehiiv signup form, or if you register interest in Signycle Pro via the Pro waitlist form. Both are entirely voluntary.
- Survey responses — if you complete the Pro waitlist form, we collect your name, preferred exchanges, sector interest and investor type. This information is used solely to prioritise early access and tailor the Pro product.
- Cookies — Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish between users and sessions. These are analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels beyond Google Analytics.
3. How we use your data
- Analytics data is used solely to understand how visitors use the site — which articles are read, which pages are visited, and how traffic grows over time. This helps us improve the content we publish.
- Email addresses are used to send the Signycle newsletter (market cycle updates and new article notifications). We do not send unsolicited commercial emails. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
4. Third-party services
Signycle uses the following third-party services that may collect data under their own privacy policies:
If Google AdSense advertising is enabled on this site, Google may use cookies to personalise ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out via Google's Ad Settings.
5. Cookies
We use the following cookies:
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics cookies. These persist for 2 years and help distinguish between unique visitors.
- _gid — Google Analytics session cookie. Expires after 24 hours.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use a browser extension to block analytics tracking. The site functions fully without cookies.
6. Data retention
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default. Email subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. We do not store any personal data on our own servers — all data is held by the third-party services listed above.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right to access the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")

8. Children's privacy
Signycle is intended for adults interested in financial markets. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
